Colonial Fit RVA is a semi-private training facility and nutrition club located in Richmond’s up and coming Scotts Addition. We provide five star personal training services with personalized fitness programs as well as small group classes, home workout programs, and nutrition plans. With our nationally accredited fitness professionals behind you the entire way, we make reaching goals affordable and easy.

Owner of Colonial Fit RVA, Brie is an NASM certified personal trainer with over 11 years of experience. She graduated from VCU with a degree in exercise science. She spent 6 years as head trainer at a local corporate gym. There, she discovered the need to open a facility that customized the training programs to the need of client, with no contracts, or sign on fees. Colonial Fit RVA was the realization of her training philosophy that fitness should be affordable, and personalized to the individual.
Brie specializes in overall fitness, with an emphasis on fat loss and muscle gain. After training through her own pregnancy and first child, she particularly enjoys working with expectant and post-natal mommies, but she works with all ages and fitness levels. She has continued aspirations to compete in physique competition, thus still pushing her own limits, leading by example and helping her clients succeed in living overall healthier lifestyles.
Chris Snedden, Instructor

Chris is a certified group X instructor of 6 years and a four year veteran of the United States Marine corps. He specializes in boot camp style workouts where he can incorporate his military background. His classes focus on full body mechanics with an emphasis on calisthenics based movements, to improve motor movement, strength, and power.

Hope has been a freelance Personal Trainer in New York City for 2 years now while completing a masters program at Columbia University. Hope has extensive training in exercise form and technique through Randolph-Macon College’s athletic program. Your fitness journey is one that shapes your discipline, your body, and most importantly, your spirit. “We only have one body, we should use it wisely”.
Melissa Lewis, Yoga Instructor

Melissa is a mom of three, who first started her yoga journey in the early 2000’s. Her passion for yoga continues to grow over the years and has become a tool that she uses to ground daily. In 2021 she completed the 200 YTT in Vinyasa Yoga and is excited to be able to bring her personal love for yoga and mindfulness to others.
Utilizing mindfulness meditation practices has further deepened her understanding and fascination of the power of the mind/body connection. After becoming certified to teach yoga,Melissa also became certified in Reiki level 1 and 2.
One of Melissa’s favorite things about yoga is that anyone at any skill level can practice and obtain the benefits.
